The timing and order of attempts are determined by RVB Services, LLC based on route planning, safety, professional judgment, and the information available.

We generally do not serve on Sundays or recognized holidays. Service may be delayed because of severe weather, unsafe road conditions, illness, civil unrest, court closures, inaccessible property, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

Service is not guaranteed. Payment is for the professional time, travel, attempts, documentation, and work performed.

Status updates may include photographs, GPS coordinates, date, time, address information, vehicle information, occupancy indicators, and other relevant observations.

When appropriate, we may speak with neighbors, occupants, property managers, postal employees, employers, or others to obtain information concerning residency or recipient availability. These contacts are part of service-of-process due diligence.

7. RETURN OF SERVICE / NON-SERVICE AFFIDAVIT

Once service is completed, all diligent attempts have been made, or reliable information indicates there is no reasonable expectation that service can be completed, we will prepare our standard Return of Service / Non-Service Affidavit.

A link to the DRAFT Return of Service / Non-Service Affidavit will be emailed to you for review and approval.

An invoice reflecting all payments received and any remaining balance due will be sent with the draft.

You are responsible for reviewing the draft and identifying any missing or incorrect information before approving it.

All unpaid balances must be paid in full before the Return of Service / Non-Service Affidavit is executed and released.

After final approval and payment are received, the process server will execute the Return of Service / Non-Service Affidavit using an electronic signature unless an original or notarized affidavit has been requested.

CLIENT-SUPPLIED OR COURT-ISSUED AFFIDAVITS

If you want us to execute your own or a court-issued Return of Service / Non-Service Affidavit, you must provide the fully completed document.

As a quality-control measure, RVB Services, LLC does not fill out client-supplied or court-issued affidavits.

Please leave only the process server signature and, when applicable, the notary section blank.

ORIGINAL AND NOTARIZED AFFIDAVITS

Please notify us when approving the draft if you require:

  • An original signature
  • A blue-ink signature
  • A notarized affidavit

Notarization may require up to 48 additional hours due to scheduling.

A scanned copy will be sent by email. The original will be sent by Regular U.S. Mail.
